Onlineprinters GmbH, one of Europe’s largest B2B online printing corporations, is expanding its European market position once again after Bregal Unternehmerkapital became majority shareholder in autumn 2016: the Danish company LaserTryk, the leading player in the Scandinavian online printing market, has joined the group. Following the combination with British market leader Solopress in March 2017, the LaserTryk transaction represents a further milestone for Onlineprinters in securing a leading position in key European markets.
LaserTryk was founded in 1999 and has grown significantly in recent years. Employing around 300 people, LaserTryk is the largest printing company in Denmark and the market leader in online printing throughout Scandinavia. LaserTryk.dk offers a graphical “one-stop-shopping-concept” by selling e.g. business cards, stickers, posters, banners, books and tradeshow displays. The company’s founders, Esben Mols Kabell and Anders Grønborg, will continue to lead LaserTryk and will become shareholders in the Onlineprinters Group. The new partnership will bring economies of scale, provide the benefits of joint procurement and offer customers additional products and services.
Through its brands, Onlineprinters, diedruckerei.de, Solopress and LaserTryk, the group employs more than 1,300 employees and produces over 2.5 billion printed products each year. These are distributed via 18 web shops to the group’s 800,000 customers in 30 countries across Europe. The product portfolio comprises 1,500 printed products ranging from business cards, stationery and flyers to catalogues, brochures and large-format advertising systems.
